Beaujolais Nouveau is a French wine made by George Duboeuf in the Beaujolais region (Burgundy). George Duboeuf releases the Beaujolais Nouveau wines every year on the third thursday of November and with this bottle he made the region world famous.
TASTING NOTES: Beaujolais Nouveau is a light, jucy and fruity wine with an intense red colour. Black and red fruits dominate with subtle aroma's of pansies. This wine has soft tanins, not too much acidity and drinks easily.
It is adviced to drink this wine as fast as possible after opening so that it does not lose its freshness. It is also best to drink it slightly cooled, at a temperature of 12 to 14°C.
