A dark crimson colour reveals a surprisingly refreshing wine with fresh herbaceous and earthy notes on the nose which develop into dark cocoa and black cherry aromas. A bright and lingering finish with dusty but refreshing tannins. It's a blend of 80% merlot and 20% cabernet franc.
The Lone Wolf is an outcast. Each year is a different blend chosen from the most tenacious grapes on the farm that do not necessarily fit the mould, but are characters on their own.
