Carmen Winemaker's was founded in 1850 by Christian Lanz, who named the winery after his wife. For 170 years, the house has produced wines that are now available in more than 50 different countries, and Our Daily Bottle represents them in Belgium!
TASTING PROFILE: Carmen Winemaker's Red is an intense ruby red wine with, on the nose, aromas of ripe red fruits, currants, blackcurrants, graphite and subtle notes of tobacco. The wine has a nice structure with sweet and firm tannins and goes perfectly with meat dishes and pasta.
