Chapeau Melon Blanc is a French white blend of melon de Bourgogne and sauvignon blanc. The wine is made by Jérémie Huchet in north-west France near Nantes.
Jérémie's vineyards are not far from the Loire. All the vines Jérémie has are grown sustainably and the wines he makes are very lightly filtered to preserve and respect the richness of the grapes.
TASTING PROFILE: Chapeau Melon Blanc is a very aromatic wine with floral aromas of citrus and exotic fruit on the nose. The taste is fresh, soft and approachable with a clear hint of lemon.
This is a perfect aperitif wine that is also delicious with seafood, fish dishes and lobster.
