Chapeau Melon Rouge is a French red wine made entirely of pinot noir. The wine is made by Jérémie Huchet in north-west France near Nantes.
Jérémie's vineyards are not far from the Loire. All the vines Jérémie has are grown sustainably and the wines he makes are very lightly filtered to preserve and respect the richness of the grapes.
TASTING PROFILE: Chapeau Melon Rouge is cherry red in colour. On the nose, the wine is characterised by aromas of ripe red fruit. On the palate, you can expect pleasant freshness, intense fruitiness and soft and supple tannins.
This is the perfect wine to accompany white meat, charcuterie, cheese and raclette.
