Gannikos Winery is a Greek winery that specializes in making single varietal wines. They mainly focus on indigenous grape varieties and are regarded as one of the leading exporting and organic Greek winemakers.
The grapes for this wine are hand-picked and fermented with the skins for 2 to 3 weeks. The grapes then go into oak barrels for 12 months. Their production method is in line with European regulations on organic production.
TASTE PROFILE : Giannikos - Eclipse has a deep red color with a rich texture. On the nose, the wine is characterized by aromas of chocolate and plum. In the mouth you can expect cherry aromas together with a nice structure, soft tannins and a long finish.
This wine goes well with grilled meat, caramelized vegetables, roasted chicken and mushrooms.
